Home Show Press Release written by Tom Koob

I hear you – you’re busy!  Time is short and the list of things to do is long.  Shopping on the Internet has become a convenient and fast way to check things off your list.  The downside of digital shopping is the lack of personal interaction, minimal visual appeal and  not having the ability to tailor the purchase to your specific needs.  Don’t panic; the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce has the perfect solution for you.

Join us at our 30th Annual Home and Business Show on April 7th and 8th at the Shell Knob School Gymnasium.  No matter what your “project” is, we have a vendor for you.  Home improvement, gardening, financial, real estate, boat docks, pest control, healthcare, furniture, pets and so much more. Come speak to a “real” person that can answer your questions and help you check another thing off your to-do list.

Don’t have a project?  That’s okay, we have other booths that you should make plans to visit.  Ozark Water Watch will be there all weekend to share information on how, when and why we should be Retesting our water wells.  They will also have information on septic maintenance and rebate offers.  David Compton, Director for Barry County Emergency Management will be there to share how to be better prepared for natural disasters and emergencies in our homes, neighborhoods and community.  The Trout Pond will be there on Saturday from 9 am – 3 pm.  This is a fun and free activity for kids.   Mercy Life Line will be landing their medical helicopter on Saturday at 10 am for everyone to tour.  If you are looking for summer employment, come in on Saturday between 10am and 1pm for our job fair.  Area businesses offering seasonal employment will be on hand to talk to you.

Whatever the weather, The Biggest Little Home Show in the Ozarks will have useful and interesting displays both Friday evening and all day Saturday.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity for great deals, information and fun for everyone.  For more information visit our website at or call 417-858-3300.
