Thanks to all who helped make this year’s 7th annual Shakin’ in the Shell a huge success! The Shakin’ Festival would not have happened without the support of Diamond Sponsor Paradise Cove Camping Resort in Eagle Rock, Platinum Sponsors NAMI Docks and Hutchens Construction as well as the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce and the many other sponsors who provided the support needed to make this such a FUN event. Special thanks to Big Creek Resort for providing golf carts for the Festival and donating all the ice in addition to being a Bronze sponsor. Thank you to Vanderhoof Gardens for decorating the Festival with numerous plants and flowers. Thank you to Mick Epperly, Stone County Sherrif, who volunteered his day off to work at the festival.  Thank you to the neighbors for allowing us to use their areas for parking.  Thanks also goes out to the members of the Shakin’ in the Shell Committee whose many months of preparation included obtaining sponsors, arranging for entertainment, getting vendor participation, preparing the grounds, organizing the logistics of the Festival and so on. The new location for this year’s Festival at the old ball diamonds down Needles Eye Road was particularly challenging and required many hours of work to prepare the grounds, repair the restrooms, provide updated electrical service and so on. Special thanks goes out to Shakin’ Committee members Dave Fielder, John Coonrod and Howard Trimble for the facilities work they provided and in particular to Pat Bingley for her electrical work. She spent countless hours at the park working.  These upgrades will make this a great facility for years to come! 
Thanks also goes out to the many volunteers who helped out at the Festival itself from parking attendants, to admissions, to shuttling patrons to cleanup and to those who offered to work wherever there was a need. This is truly a great community to be a part of.
