Shell Knob Events for the last weekend in June and the FOURTH!

One of my favorite places to shop in Shell Knob is Treasures, Then and Now. It has changed hands twice since its inception but its’ core philosophy of selling quality new and used items remains the same. They have increased the policy of selling home made items and are encouraging baked foods such as cookies. The selection is wide and the goodness is baked right inside. They have increased the number of Customer Appreciation Days again. The next one is Saturday, June 30th from 10 am to 2 pm. Tom Koob, author of the book, Buried by Table Rock Lake, will be there signing books 11 am til 1 pm. Refreshments will be provided by the Painted Buffalo Cafe. There will be markdowns for this special event. A big thank you to Tom Koob and Theresa Cline, The Painted Buffalo for contributing to his event. There will be several other Plaza stores celebrating the July holiday.

For the Fisherman and Party Pals, Pro Choice and Jug N Plug have really upped their level of supplies for both.  Worms, crayfish and a dozen or so baits were seen being brought in for customers.  In addition, those who are thirsty  should shop the new shipments of wines, beer and everything else that wets your palate. They have a wide abundance of the BEST!   Expect treats and samples at both places.
