Table Rock Fishing is Awesome, so says Cliff Harmon at the Pro’s Choice on Bridgeway Plaza

In checking with Cliff Harmon, manager at Pro’s Choice “all things fishy” Table Rock fishing is out of this world this weekend.  Every one is catching  a lot of fish.  Trying to pin him down got me, “all kinds of fish”  are biting….”  So there it is a great weekend for wishing!  It is also the Lady Shriner’s weekend at the Knob.  So let us all put on our best smiles and good behavior and welcome the strangers in town.

I was visiting the Dogwood Trail Garden Trail sale at the VFW at 8 am.  The girls have a lot of stuff to share for nominal prices.Check out the plants that are for prizes in the raffle table. Those girls have spent hours organizing this sale.  Things are clean and organised for choice and price. Today they will be open til 5 pm.  Saturday morning they open again at 8 and will close it out by 2 pm.  So go up north  on highway 13, to the VFW.  Plenty of carpeting, fabric, odds and ends, lots of candles too!.

The Harvest Community Garden gals will have a table there to rent a planting plot at the United Methodist Church.  They have 16 plots there that visitors can rent one all summer with water supplied for $20.  Check out the table today  Betty Ragland is there, tell her Hi!

TONIGHT IS THE BIG OPENING OF THE PLAY, ‘THE COWBOY GOT COLD FEET’.  Buy a ticket now at the Chamber building or at the door. The play will repeat itself on Saturday evening and on Sunday at 2 pm.
