Central Crossing Senior Center Receives Eagles Grant

Despite its small population, Shell Knob has many organizations, clubs, and groups that contribute to the betterment of the community as a whole.  It is a part of what makes this community such a special place to live.  One such group has stepped forward with a very generous donation to Central Crossing Senior Center (CCSC).  The local Aerie and Auxiliary of Shell Knob Eagles 4155 applied for and received a grant from the National Division of Eagles to further assist the mission of the Center.  These funds are to be used by the Center in maintaining the nutritious salad bar and the efforts of CCSC as it supports those in the community affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Jerry Arnold, CEO/CCO of the Shell Knob Seniors, Inc. (the parent corporation which oversees CCSC) thanked the group for their generous donation and interest in the work that the Central Crossing Senior Center is doing for the community.  Jerry Arnold, thanking the group said, “With help like this, so much more can be done to further the help that the Senior Center provides”
